I keep getting import errors! What’s going on?
The absolute first thing to check is to make sure your Words With Friends board is not zoomed in when you take a screenshot of your game. A properly zoomed-out board will display the entire board on the screen.
The next thing to check is to make sure you don’t have a system banner displayed on the top of your screenshot, such as a banner indicating your device is in the middle of a phone call or is sharing its connection as a personal hotspot. These banners will interfere with our app’s ability to read your board.
Finally, our app is updated continuously to run with the latest version of Words With Friends. Sometimes this means that we have to drop support for older versions. So be sure you are running the latest version of Words With Friends before you take a screenshot of your game.
Your cheating app is confusing some of the letters on my board!
We are working hard to improve our app’s letter scanning accuracy. Unfortunately it is not possible to get a board to scan 100% correctly 100% of the time but we are doing our best to keep it as accurate as possible. When necessary, please use the ‘Edit Board’ option to fix misread letters.
How do I take a screenshot of my Words With Friends game?
Open your Words With Friends game. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top or side of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, then immediately press and release the Home button.
What games does your cheating app support?
Word Cheats and Cheat Master support Words With Friends only. Our apps will not work if you try to import a board from a word game other than Words With Friends.
